College Librarians Present Project Proposal on Remote Access Challenges at OMSC
On March 20, 2025, the College Librarians of Occidental Mindoro State College presented their project proposal, "Exploring the Challenges in Promoting Remote XS Among Faculty and Students at OMSC (A Basis for User Engagement)." The proposal falls under the Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology (Information Technology) - IT category, aiming to enhance user engagement and accessibility in the digital landscape.

OMSC College Librarians Attend Serv Enterprises Seminar on AI and Library Innovation
On March 11, 2025, at the Golden Phoenix Hotel, Manila, Serv Enterprises conducted a seminar for its clientele, focusing on the integration of AI technology in library services. Representing Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) were Ms. Lady Glydel A. Baculo from San Jose College Library and Ms. Rizza Rose C. Aspa from Murtha Campus College Library.
The seminar featured three key topics:

📌 AI ChatLibrary: The Actual AI Applications from Library to Students – Mr. Peter Chung
📌 Federated Search: More Relevant Today Than Ever – Mr. Joseph Goh
This event provided valuable insights into AI-driven advancements in library management and user engagement.
